If hard to read in the photo, the spools are 2 12, 2 78 and 3 18 inches. Note that another source of confusion is that some makers gave frame diameter, others spool diameter, as is the case for the Eagle Claw series. I just need to figure out the number designation.) By the way, your point about being able to pick up parts through Cortlandline shows how practical these reels remain-inexpensive to begin with, yet they accept Hardy parts. If so, it should make a great 5-weight reel for my FF705, no Do you know which Hardy copy is 3-12 (Im not looking for a matched set, so it could be Eagle Claw, Heddon, Berkley, Olympic, etc. My question is if the 310 is the LRH-size reel 3-38, as opposed to my 2-78 Berkley 520.
